greeters
Be the first to welcome people in to worship! We’d love to have your smiling face greet folks as they come in and make sure they know they’re welcome exactly as they are. Talk to our admin, Amy at amy@galvestoncentralchurch.com for details!
worship band
Our worship band is mostly made of volunteers and is always looking for new members! If you sing or play an instrument (Any instrument! Cello, mandolin, bongos, harmonica, etc.) , and are interested in joining the band or choir, contact our worship leader, Ezra at ezra@galvestoncentralchurch.com.
tech team
There are a lot of moving parts that happen behind the scenes during worship, including slides, sound, video and more! To learn more about serving on our tech team, talk to Ezra at ezra@galvestoncentralchurch.com.
sunday morning breakfast
We ask that folks provide, pre-warmed breakfast (casseroles, tacos, pastries, etc.) for about 60 folks and serve it between 9am - 10am. This is a great opportunity for families, small groups, Sunday school classes, boy scouts, youth groups, etc to serve the community. Email Amy at amy@galvestoncentralchurch.com for more information.
children's ministry
Central's children's ministry works to create a safe space for children to learn about God and have fun. If you are interested in serving as a Sunday morning volunteer, an event volunteer, or some other way, contact our Children and Youth Ministries Director Chad Smith at chad@galvestoncentralchurch.com. All volunteers are required to complete training and a background check.
youth ministry
Central Youth is building a safe space for the youth of every identity in our community to feel welcomed, whole and connected. We have groups that meet on Sundays as well as during the week. If you're interested in being part of our online or in-person activities to serve our youth or want more info about volunteering, or having your youth attend, you can reach out to our youth director, Chad at chad@galvestoncentralchurch.com. All volunteers are required to complete training and a background check.
